Lets get straight to the point,there are no hidden charges,you can use
your sim as you use to i.e load and make calls and do whatever you
like with the sim.
Note:MTN MAGIC SIM has notin to do with 080 or 070 lines,they are old
lines,you can use new lines like the 081,but if you want to enjoy it
more,use the newest line.
To identify if it is a new line,check the back of your sim,you will
see somthing like 128k,36k or 54k,if you see 128k,it means it is an
old line but it will work a bit slow,but if you see 36k or 54k,it
means it is a new line and it will serve you better.
To activate MTN MAGIC SIM,follow the procedure below
1.You need to migrate to mtn pulse,i.e if you are not on the plan.
2.You need to recharge your mtn pulse sim.at least N250 should be in your sim.
3.Use your phone and send 2H to 131,by so doing,you are subscribing
for mtn 2hours data plan
4.Fix the sim eather in your phone or modem and browse with it for
complete 2hours.
5.After the 2hours of browsing,remove the sim and leave it un-used for
complete 24hours.
6.After the 24hours,fix your sim in eather your phone or modem and
browse till enternity.

Hey it looks like this is working though I've not tried it with my modem. I noticed that since I used my sim to subscribe 2H, since then I've been browsing free of charge with my phone. On hearing this i realized why, so I'll just try it and see if it works on modem.

DeleteDid you mean to say 128k is the new sim while 32k and 64k(not 36k n 54k) are the old sims? coz the k in front of those figures specifies the transmission speed in kilobytes that the sim uses,so why would MTN start producing sims with lesser kilobytes??

ReplyDeleteIf you have a new sim that has not been registered and you want to activate the magic sim,its better you should not register it,or else you kiss your N250 gone.MTN are aware of this trick ,they just dont know how to block it.
